            The Training & Placement Cell plays a crucial role in shaping students' futures and stands as a vital component of the Institute. This cell is dedicated to supporting students in achieving their career goals by developing essential job-seeking skills and securing their employment. We achieve this by fostering strong collaborations among students, alumni, faculty, and industry partners.
            At J.P. College of Engineering, we implement a centralized placement system that ensures equal opportunities for all branches, promoting sustained career excellence through comprehensive training and placement services.

VISION : To enable the rural students to achieve their career aspirations by delivering high-quality training and facilitating successful placements, while continuously adapting to industry trends and needs of the global market.
MISSION :

To provide a supportive environment which brings determination, imagination, hope, faith and passion for student career development through effective training and placement services, ensuring they are equipped to meet the demands of the modern workforce.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners to secure placement opportunities for students.
2. Organize training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance students' employability skills.
3. Provide career counseling and guidance to help students make informed career choices.
4. Coordinate campus recruitment drives and facilitate the placement process for graduating students.
5. Maintain and update a database of student profiles, placement statistics, and employer feedback to continuously improve the placement process.

TRAINING & PLACEMENT POLICES
TRAINING POLICY:

  • Identification of skill-based expectations of the employers in the perspectives of Soft Skills, Verbal and Aptitude Skills, Coding Skills from their Job Descriptions.
  • Mapping the skill level of the students and spotting the gap between the expectation of the employers and the current skill level of the students as Training Needs.
  • Developing a full-fledged and need based Training Plan that meets all different skill levels of the students.
  • Identifying the training vendors and providing a demo class to the students, if the students is comfortable with the training it will be continued, else some other training vendors may be opted for the training.
  • Evaluating effectiveness of the Training programs by analyzing the feedback obtained from the trainees and implementing the necessary corrective actions in order to enhance the effectiveness of the Training programs.


PLACEMENT POLICY:

  • Identification of prospective recruiters based on the parameters such as the learning opportunities that the organization could provide to our students, Salary Package that they offer and prospects of long-term career growth.
  • Contacting the prospective recruiters and analyze the expectation of those recruiters.
  • Organizing On-Campus and sending the students for Off-Campus placement drives and facilitating the process of recruitment.
  • Arranging internship for the students based on their skills and there area of interest.
